B) DISCOS VOLADORES – – El Bureau, a solicitud de Army Air Forces Intelligence, a acordado en cooperar en la investigación de discos voladores. Las Fuerzas Aéreas confidencialmente han aconsejado que es posible liberar tres o más discos en números pares, mantenidos juntos por un alambre, desde un aeroplano a gran altura y que estos discos pueden obtener gran velocidad en su descenso y podrían caer a la tierra en un arco. La Army Air Forces Intelligence también ha indicado alguna preocupación de que los avistamientos informados pudieran haber sido hechos por individuos subversivos para el propósito de crear una histeria de masas.

Debe investigar cada instancia que caiga a su atención de un avistamiento de un disco volador para asegurarse si es o no un avistamiento bona fide, uno imaginario o una broma. También debe mantener en mente que los individuos pueden estar deseosos de buscar publicidad personal, causar histeria o jugar una broma.
El Bureau debe notificar inmediatamente por tekletipo de todos los avistamientos informados y de los resultados de sus investigaciones. En instancias en donde los informes parezcan tener mérito, el teletipo deberá seguirse por una carta al Bureau conteniendo en detalle los resultados de sus investigaciones. Las Fuerzas Aéreas del Ejército han asegurado una completa cooperación con el Bureau en estos asuntos y en cualquier instancia en donde ellos fallen en hacer disponible la información para usted o que los discos recuperados estén disponibles para que usted los examine, deberá ser rápidamente traído a la atención del Bureau.
Cualquier información que usted desarrolle en conexión con estos discos debe ser rápidamente traída a la atención del Ejército a través de los canales normales de enlace.

Recientemente he escuchado y leído sobre informes de aeronaves en forma de disco o cualesquiera que ellas sean, en nuestras regiones occidentales. Me recordaron un incidente casi olvidado en Alemania, después de la guerra. Les informo esto porque siento que esto puede ser de proyección internacional.
Mi amigo y yo íbamos a pasar a ver un amigo de él. Una tarde los tres estábamos conduciendo sobre algunos caminos secundarios cuando avisté un objeto de apariencia extraña en el cielo de ocho a diez millas al frente de nosotros y aproximadamente a 5,000 pies de altura.
Inmediatamente paré el jeep para tener una mejor visión. Rápidamente el objeto vino hacia nosotros, descendiendo lentamente. Alrededor de una milla de distancia se paró su movimiento horizontal pero continuó descendiendo oscilando lentamente, similar a un paracaídas cayendo. Entonces repentinamente cayó en un movimiento espiral.
Inmediatamente conduje hasta donde había caído. Tomó casi cinco minutos llegar al lugar pero no vimos nada. Después de diez minutos de cruzar alrededor de la zona comenzó a hacerse muy oscuro para ver así que regresamos al pueblo.
No estoy seguro si mis compañeros vieron esto, ocurrió tan rápido que fácilmente pudieron habérselo perdido, pero les describí tan vívidamente lo que había visto que ellos estaban tan emocionados como yo. Mi primera impresión fue que era una nube pero estaba viajando en un ángulo recto contra el viento.
El lugar de este incidente estaba aproximadamente a 20 millas al Noroeste de Babberbishopshiem. Si es necesario, juraría la autenticidad de esto sobre la forma del objeto.
